Here are a few pictures for you-
Aaron Arndt- who suffered a broken leg in a 50-skater crash in Switzerland in June- sports two different skates- the black looser fitting Bont boot & compression sock is easier on his stiches
Marco Frusteri in his 100-meter time-trial
David Rudniski leading Jay Brown
Leo Frusteri leading Scott Pauley, Shannon Hegarty, Jay Brown, Jesse Pauley, Georg Nicodym, and David Rudniski
I’m used to seeing this happy face- Aaron Arndt- smiling while I get to play frolf (frisbee golf) with him. It’s nice to see that face at skating
Morgane Echardour leads Shannon Hegarty and Jacky Shu during the 1000-meter race
It looks like the first Scooter’s race turned out wonderfully. I have yet to meet Aaron but I did hear about his accident and I’m really happy to hear that he’s skating again.
It’s grassroots events like this that the sport needs and I hope more people will be drawn to participate in these events as either a competitor or a spectator.
