SSW Fund-Raising Drive Wrap-Up

The 2009 SpeedSkateWorld.com fund-raising drive is over.

I realize I didn’t spend any time promoting the drive during the last couple of days.

The fact is that I’ve been very busy with work, training… and maintaining SSW- go figure.

Thanks a lot to everyone who donated & helped out. Every bit makes a difference,

This year’s drive brought in $120, and that will help pay for hosting fees for SSW.

In Montreal- Marathon De Montreal Tomorrow- Updates From Inline Planet And Candy Wong

I have been in Montreal since yesterday (Friday) night. I am staying at my aunt Marie Paule`s place.

Today; hung out with a few friends. It is very rainy here in Montreal.

I spoke on the phone with Robert Burson- he will be updating the Inline Planet with Montreal results and reports after the race tomrrow. The marathon should be done by 11am. He will call me and post news on the Inline Planet.

I will probably update SSW Moday evening when I come home. I will be enjoying my family, skater friends, and the race tomorrow.

According to some sources, team Cado Motus will race. So will Jorge Botero and Steve Robillard. With Il Peloton mix, the race should be competitive.
