Toronto Inline Skating Club Practice #1 Report- 200m Race- One-Skated Jesse Vs Georg & David

Earlier today at first Toronto Inline Skating Club practice of 2009, Jesse Pauley took on Georg Nikodym and David Rudniski in a 200-meter race.

The catch? Jesse was using one skate and a running shoe.

Jesse got off to a blistering start and took a commanding lead early on. Georg  and David both mounted a late-charge after slowly gathering some speed in the opening 150-meters of the race. The duo over took Pauley in the last 50-meters, and thankfully they both edged Jesse out at the line.

200-meter results
1- Georg Nikodym
2- David Rudniski
3- Jesse Pauley

Matter’s ‘Nuclear’ Wheel- Hitting The Track At The Trois Pistes

The Nuclear wheels come in two hardnesses, F1 and F2. The F1 wheels are without a doubt the fastest combination of grip and roll now available. They are perfect for the distance races on the tracks of this world. You will be able to roll through the race, yet you will have that extra grip needed to win then points sprints and the final sprint. It was Yann Guyader himself who tested and finetuned these wheels, until he felt they were perfect.
