The mission of the International Speed Skating Federation (ISSF) is to promote the sports of inline and ice speed skating worldwide. Ingrained in this mission is the desire to enhance the virtues of responsibility, commitment, and accountability in all skaters, and make them healthier through participation in either or both of these sports. The ISSF also plans to make these sports affordable to anyone who wants to skate; develop more sites where skaters can practice and compete; and provide Web-based information about facilities and competitions

Scooter’s Indoor Speed Club- Opens November 2nd

The Scooter’s Indoor Speed Club will begin its 2008-2009 season on November 2nd. The club will skate on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. The club’s website was recently improved (by me :))- check it out.

There is a dedicated Children & Youth program on Sundays at 9:30am to 10:30am.

Well I think that Colombia is very passionate for sport and more for skating. This sport is very popular in Colombia because of the results during year for the country. Normally the secret is be constant in your discipline and to want what you do, and do it well!
